| In October 2000, when I was fifteen years old, we went on a short holiday back to Phuket. This time we flew there. We wanted to see what the islands looked like after the filmmakers had left. If you remember, we went there in April 1999 to watch them make the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio. Some people were protesting because they said they destroyed a dune. But to me, everything looked cleaner and better than before. Can you see how beautiful that water is? It is very clear. If you want a beach holiday, then go to Phi Phi island as it is very beautiful. |

The picture on the left shows the place we went to see the bird nests. They make a drink from this bird nest and it is very expensive. The picture on the right is on Phi Phi Don where we stayed for two nights.
