In the holidays after Songkran festival in 2001, I went to the floating market in Damnoen Saduak. It is about two hours from Bangkok. I went there in the late afternoon and stayed in the hotel called "Nok Noi" (Little Bird). If you want to go to the floating market, I suggest that you should go there early in the morning before 8 o'clock. Because if you go there later, there will be more tourists and more boats. We went on the boat at 7.00 in the morning. It was perfect at that time.

| Most of the tourists in the early morning are Thai people. The boats are going around the canal and you can ask an oarsman to stop to buy some stuff. | ||
