During the summer holiday 2003, I went on a trip to Hua Hin with my girlfriend and Richard. We went there for two reasons, one is to take some pictures for my guidebook website (ThailandGuidebook.com). And two is to take my pregnant girlfriend out so she could spend sometime outside the house rather than stay at home doing housework! Also Richard and I could have our rest from working in front of the computer to come out to have some real fresh air. We really enjoyed it and are thinking about going back there one day!!!

My girlfriend and I are standing by the Hua Hin sign at the railway station on the left picture. Behind us is the place for the king to stay while he's waiting for the train to come.

Picture on the right shows the beach in Hua Hin. I am sitting on a big stone or "hin" as it is called in Thai. Maybe the word Hua Hin comes from the stones there.


Tai and I are sitting in the umbrella city waiting for the food to come. We Thai people don't like sitting in the sun like Westerners!	You don't have to worry about getting hungry when you get on the beach. There is always some food coming along for you to buy.	A nice horse walking on the beach. I wish I could be the one who is riding on it and not the guy in the picture!


If you walk along the beach further toward the hill, you will see a huge standing buddha and some fishing boats. There are also some restaurants and a couple of little souvenir shops.	Pretty nice view and fresh air of Hua Hin along the beach. It's good to have a rest and a holiday along the beach.
