> World Scout Jamboree > Pre-Jamboree
2002
At the start of the year 2002, there was
a Pre-Jamboree at Sattahip (real place for Jamboree 2003). Lots
of scouts went there, most of them were Thai and the rest were
foreign scouts. There were about 7,000 scouts there. They only
used half of the area for this Pre-Jamboree because the other
half is not really finished yet. But in my idea, only half of
the area is already big. It took me nearly all day to go around.
For sure when it is all finished, it will take me more than one
day to go around!

View from the viewpoint up a hill showing
how near the sea is from the campside. The beach is called "Hat
Yao" which means "Long Beach" in English.
It is long like its name and the sea is blue. It is in the soldier's
area so really it is not available for normal people to go there. |
