The stories on this page are about my Thai childhood. When I was one month old, I had all my hair cut for the first time in a special ceremony with a monk. Eighteen years later I took my own daughter to the temple for this same ceremony. In the picture on the left, you can see that I used to have a top knot. This used to be quite common for Thai children. |
