The most famous temple in my province is Phra Samut Chedi. It used to be on an island. There is a big temple fair here in October every year for nine days. I am going to show you how to visit this temople from Paknam in this picture story.
Catch a bus or tuk tuk to go to
the ferry boat because Phra Samut Chedi is on the other side of the river.
Pay the money for the boat which
is 1.50 baht for each person and walk straight to the boat.
Sit on the boat and after three
or four minutes you will see Phra Samut Chedi and that is our
destination.
Get off the boat and walk to Phra
Samut Chedi.
The most famous thing in Samut
Prakarn is this Chedi and picture on the right is my friend Phong
buying a candle, three incense sticks and a lotus flower.
