This shrine is the landmark of Lop Buri. It is located only 200 meters from the train station of Lop Buri. The three prangs in a row connected at the base was a Mahayana Buddhist shrine. The shrine is an example of the work of the Lop Buri school of art and architecture with laterite and sandstone decorated with stucco. The idea behind the setting of the three prangs joining signifies dedication to Buddha, to the Bodhisattava Avalokitasvara, and to the goddess of wisdom, Prajnaparamita, or the Mother of the Buddhas. In the reign of King Narai, it was converted to a Hinayana Buddhism Temple.
